The 2804 hybrid packet broker is a unique network device that combines the functionality of a multipurpose bypass with that of a fully featured network packet broker. This device is equipped with 16 ports of 1/10 Gb, as well as an additional eight 1/10 Gb I/O packet broker ports. These ports are segmented into four-port configurations, allowing for a high degree of flexibility in terms of configuration.

With the 2804 hybrid packet broker, you have the option of configuring it with up to four 1/10 Gb multi-purpose bypass segments, up to sixteen 1/10 Gb I/O packet broker ports, or any combination of the two. This allows you to tailor the device to meet the specific needs of your network, providing you with the tools you need to optimize your network’s performance and security.
