Carrier Ethernet Product Family

Net2Edge’s portfolio of Carrier Ethernet Products combines the benefits of CE 2.0 functions for Ethernet services with support for Circuit Emulation and pseudo-wire functionality, as well as class-leading clock recovery and stability algorithms. These products enable carriers and service providers to continue to deliver key services such as Serial, TDM and ISDN using their Next Generation packet network, which may use Layer 2, Layer 3 or MPLS.

It is now possible to deliver these TDM based services alongside native Carrier Ethernet services to customers in the same Carrier Ethernet Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). This enables the Carriers’ Customers to retain control of when to migrate from legacy services; when they do there is no need for a truck roll to replace or to install new CPE.

The portfolio includes a range of Network Interface Devices (NIDs) and Aggregation Chassis all of which can be managed remotely and contain sophisticated service assurance tools.

The LIB-304 is a 1Gbps MEF CE2.0 compliant NID that provides SLA-assurance and advanced fault management.
