This CWDM OTDR solution is designed for people who manage cables and networks, such as cable companies, fibre optic network providers, and telecom service providers to do two important things:

  • Testing Through MUX/DEMUX: The CWDM OTDR solution facilitates the examination of data transmission through MUX (Multiplexer) and DEMUX (Demultiplexer) components. These elements act as traffic coordinators for optical signals in fibre networks.
  • Complete End-to-End Link Characterization or Troubleshooting: By harnessing this technology, these entities can perform comprehensive assessments of their optical networks. This includes mapping the entire route of optical data transmission, from its source to its destination, ensuring optimal functionality. Moreover, it equips them with the means to pinpoint and resolve any issues that may disrupt the seamless operation of critical systems, such as C-RAN (Centralized Radio Access Network), DAS (Distributed Antenna System), and mobile fronthaul CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) networks.
