The shelf also has features to help prevent the power supplies from accidentally getting disconnected.

The 19” rack mountable media converter shelf is designed to help organize and tidy up your stand-alone media converters. This shelf can accommodate up to 4 stand-alone devices, using only 1RU of rack space, making it an efficient solution for low-density deployments. This shelf is versatile, allowing you to mix and match up to 4 Transition Networks stand-alone media converters, including ION stand-alone converters and Ethernet Extenders (with the exception of double-high converters). The shelf comes with 4 converter mounting brackets and 3 slot blanks to cover unused slots, ensuring a secure and organized mounting option for your converters. Moreover, this shelf is non-powered, meaning you can use the power supplies that come with the media converters, avoiding the need for additional power supplies. Additionally, the shelf is deep enough to hold the power supply, reducing the strain on the power connections and it also includes power cord tie-downs to prevent accidental disconnections.
