The N-GXE-POE-xx-01 Series is a high-performance network interface card (NIC) that allows you to connect your computer to a secure fibre network and also provides power to devices like a VoIP phone. This card has two ports, one for the fibre network and one for the power and has a high speed connection of 2000 Mbps. It’s designed to make things easier for you by combining the functions of your computer and VoIP phone into one device, saving you time, money, and desk space. The card also has the ability to switch traffic between the ports even when your computer is in sleep mode. The card is set up to prioritize and filter VoIP traffic so you get a high quality connection. You can also adjust how the card handles traffic with the help of a software provided by Transition Networks.
The N-GXE-POE-xx-01 Series offers a bandwidth of 1000Mbps. It supports full-duplex mode, which enables communication in both directions simultaneously. The NIC is also compliant with the IEEE 802.3x Full-Duplex Flow Control standard, ensuring efficient data transfer. It has a PCIe x1 bus and is compliant with the PCIe Rev 2.1 Interface, providing fast and reliable connectivity. In addition, the NIC supports Jumbo Frames and has a high-level VLAN filtering function. It is also IPv6 capable, meaning it can support the latest internet protocol standard. Furthermore, the NIC supports IP headers and TCP/UDP checksum offload, making it easier for the system to process network traffic. The NIC also features Wake-on-LAN (WoL) power management, which enables it to be powered up remotely. Finally, it is PXE 2.1 Boot ROM supported and has an ACPI 2.0 Link Status LED for each port, making it easier to monitor network activity.
