Description

PON Power Meter

Steren’s PON Power Meter is designed to test FTTX PON network construction and maintenance of fibre optic communications system. This ruggedized handheld meter can also provide access between OLTs and ONTs.

This handheld meter has an impressive display resolution and testing accuracy. It has 6 wavelength calibration points: 850nm, 1300nm, 1310nm, 1490nm, 1550nm, and 1625nm. This meter can be used for linearity and non-linearity testing, and display both direct and relative testing. The voice, data, video signal (1310nm/1490nm/1550nm) online can be measured simultaneously. It can also display the optical power of all 3 operational PON wavelengths.

This PON Power Meter is perfect for measuring burst optical power. This feature is crucial for understanding upstream PON signals of 1310nm. It can process pass/fail analysis conveniently through multiple user adjustment thresholds of every wavelength. This meter is a useful device for live acceptance testing during service and fault isolation during maintenance.
