The SMARTFiber II and OPTISource 1310/1550 Kit is a set of tools that is designed for network professionals to use in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of optical network systems. The kit includes two essential devices: a Power Meter and an Optical Light Source.

The SMARTFiber II is the latest version of the SMARTFiber Power Meter and includes six different wavelengths (850/1300/1310/1490/1550/1625) for measuring the power of fibre optic cabling systems. It has an interchangeable interface that allows it to test FC, ST, and SC type connectors. It uses InGaAs technology to improve sensitivity and temperature stability, with a dynamic range of +3 to -60dBm. The SMARTFiber II can also simultaneously receive modulated signals at 270Hz, 1KHz, 2KHz, making it useful for identifying and continuity testing of both Single mode and Multi mode fibre cables.

The OPTISource 1310nm/1550nm wavelength is an Optical Light Source which is a continuous, high-stability LD light source that is used for signal attenuation, certification, fault detection, breaks and bends of fibre cables. This light source is specifically designed for multimode fibre cables.
