Ribbon Fiber Fusion Splicer

The Swift R5 is an All-In-One Ribbon Fiber Fusion Splicer with built in cleaner, cleaver, splicer and dual oven heater.  This ergonomic design eliminates the need for a large work space of a traditional fusion splicer design that uses all of the prep tools (manual stripper, cleaver, alcohol bottle) separately. The R5’s thermal automatic stripper doesn’t leave any scratches on the fiber unlike a manual stripper. This, in turn, reduces the chances of failure that may be caused by the scratches introduced when using mechanical strippers.

The R5 comes 4.3-inch navigational touch screen and can perform more than 320 times for full cycling of splicing and sleeving when fully charged. Furthermore with built-in dual sleeve heater, productivity is increased up to 30% and the dual-heater can work for both Fiber to Fiber and Fiber to Swift Connector
