It comes with canned tests for quick turn-up and installation testing. Tempo can test PTP, SyncE, and TDM in one box and accurately measures Time Error, PDV, and Wander. It includes built-in pass/fail limits, supports TDM network sync testing, and offers automatic RFC 2544 and Y.1564 testing. Tempo can simultaneously test eight traffic streams configured with CoS/QoS and provides industry-standard masks G.811/G.812/G.813/G.823/G.824. Additionally, it includes IEC 61850 testing with GOOSE and SV analytics and IRIG-B references. Calnex Tempo is a versatile sync tester designed to help network operators and engineers test and troubleshoot a wide range of communication networks, including mobile backhaul, critical infrastructure, financial networks, and power communications. Tempo is part of the Calnex family of sync testers and comes with canned tests that enable quick turn-up and installation testing.

One of the key features of Tempo is its ability to test PTP, SyncE, and TDM in one box. It can accurately measure Time Error, PDV, and Wander and test both legacy and new networks, including those that use the latest 5G technology.
