Dualcomm ETAP-2105 USB powered network regeneration tap device

Dualcomm‘s USB powered network regeneration tap device ETAP-2105 has three (3) monitor ports. Each monitor port outputs an identical copy of captured full-duplex Ethernet traffic running between two inline ports. It is ideal for network monitoring and troubleshooting when there are more than one monitoring tools needed to operate on the same copy of captured inline traffic. This portable network tap blocks the ingress traffic of the three monitor ports to prevent a connected monitoring computer from injecting packets into the network.

The ETAP-2105 is compatible with “Power over Ethernet” (PoE) so deployment of this USB powered network regeneration tap would not block the end-to-end flow of PoE inline power. This is a very useful feature for monitoring or capturing data traffic of a PoE Ethernet link.

This network regeneration tap device can be conveniently powered via a USB host such as a computer.
